MUSIC FESTIVALS

Virginia Arts Festival - Hampton Roads area
The Virginia Arts Festival brings together a variety of artists to showcase the best of Virginia’s talent and culture. While this festival takes place in nine Virginia cities throughout the spring, the biggest event is the Virginia International Tattoo, taking place April 18-21. This all-American show of patriotism and pride includes acts from Virginia marching bands, drill teams, dancers, choirs, and other large-scale performances.

Tom Tom Festival - Charlottesville, Virginia
The Tom Tom Festival is a music, art, and ideas event about the future of community April 17-21. The Festival equips and inspires engaged citizens from all different backgrounds to build relationships, collaborate, and collectively build a brighter tomorrow. Activities include a celebration of music, art, and ideas taking place along the historic pedestrian mall and at dozens of regional venues, the Festival is a unique opportunity to experience this beautiful southern city and join a conversation about its future.

Ella Fitzgerald Music Festival - Newport News, Virginia
Newport News will be celebrating the legacy of icon Ella Fitzgerald with two incredible nights of soul-stirring music April 26-27 including performances by René Marie & Experiment In Truth and Lisa Fischer with Taylor Eigsti.
