Virginia’s 40 Off began

Forty lucky sweepstakes winners (20 winners plus their guests) arrived at Mount Vernon with suitcases in-hand and were greeted by America’s first president and avid traveler, George Washington, who disclosed their top secret destination. Broken into four groups (yellow, blue, purple and green), the 40 were whisked off across the Commonwealth.

The 40th anniversary of Virginia is for Lovers just got more exciting, with the launch of Virginia’s 40 Off Travel Deals, a statewide program with nearly 200 participating partners offering discounts and deals that make travel in Virginia up to 40 percent off.
